Our Acne Specialist will work with you to tailor each treatment to address your specific skin type and acne concerns. What happens during an acne consultation?
The 45-minute acne consultation at AyurVida is a full intake assessment with a licensed esthetician. It includes a sensitivity test and a review of your current skincare routine, diet and lifestyle to identify habits that may contribute to breakouts, followed by a custom home-care plan for your skin type.
How many acne treatments will I need?
Most clients get the best results with acne treatments twice a month for about three months, which is why AyurVida offers a Package of 6 treatments. Your esthetician adjusts each treatment as your skin changes, and results vary from person to person.
What is the Face Reality acne program?
Face Reality is a professional acne skincare method that combines in-clinic treatments every two weeks, a personalized home-care product routine and guidance on the habits and ingredients that can trigger breakouts. AyurVida's estheticians are trained in Face Reality and combine it with Ayurvedic skincare principles.
Do you offer acne treatment for teenagers?
Yes. AyurVida Wellness offers acne care for both teens and adults, from occasional breakouts to persistent congestion. Clients under 18 need the consent of a parent or guardian before their first appointment.
Can you treat severe or cystic acne?
Our acne services are cosmetic skincare treatments, not medical treatment. If your acne is severe, painful, cystic or leaves scars, we recommend seeing a dermatologist first. AyurVida is happy to provide supportive skincare alongside your doctor's care.
Who should not get an acne peel?

I really appreciate the fact that she takes time to read your skin and provides a personal experience; rather than one recipe for all facials/skin types.Earl (Massage): Earl listens closely to your concerns and delivers exactly what you need. Whether you are looking to fully relax or need targeted work, Earl takes care of you. I’ve had two instances where just one massage session has extremely made a difference on a constant pain area; Including a constant tension pain on my shoulder from long hours of desk work.I’ve not had the opportunity to try their Ayurvedic treatments yet, however I am positive that Christianne and her team will deliver the same level of professionalism and quality as the treatments I have enjoyed. Chritianne, Earl and Chelly all three are amazing at what they do! I have regular abhyanga massages that help me a lot in elevating my energy levels and acne facials and that helped me a lot in reducing my cystic acne and pigmentation.
