IMMUNITY BOOSTING TEA

When the sniffles strike or the weather turns chilly, there’s nothing quite like a warm, soothing cup of tea to provide comfort—and boost your immunity!

This simple yet potent recipe, cherished by Indian grandmothers, is a natural remedy to help alleviate cold and flu symptoms.

Ingredients:

• 2 cups of water

• 1½-inch piece of fresh ginger (crushed or sliced)

• 2 pinches of freshly ground black pepper

• ½-inch cinnamon stick (or ½ tsp ground cinnamon)

• ½ teaspoon Tulsi tea leaves or 1 Tulsi tea bag

Instructions:

• Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.

• Add the ginger, black pepper, cinnamon, and Tulsi tea.

• Let the mixture simmer gently for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors and healing properties to infuse.

• Turn off the heat and let the tea steep for an additional 2 minutes.

• Strain the tea into your favorite mug and enjoy it hot or warm.

This tea combines the powerful anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties of ginger and Tulsi with the warming spices of cinnamon and black pepper. Sip it slowly to feel its comforting effects as it works to keep your body strong and resilient.
