IMMUNITY BOOSTING TEA
A favorite among Indian grandmothers, this recipe is a must when it comes to alleviating cold & flu symptoms.
✅ 2 cups of water
✅ 1½-inch piece of fresh ginger (crushed or sliced) 2 pinches
✅ freshly ground black pepper
✅ ½ inch cinnamon stick (or ½ tsp ground cinnamon)
✅ ½ teaspoon Tulsi tea leaves/1 teabag
Bring water to a boil and add the tea & herbs. Let the tea simmer for 5 minutes. Turn the heat off and let the tea steep for another 2 minutes. Strain the herbs and pour the tea into a mug. Enjoy hot or warm!
